Best features

Liz: A neat, compact unit with a flip top which opened up to let you get at the controls. Easy to understand and offered good pain relief.

Worst features

Liz: Unfortunately the neat, compact design was ruined by the fact that there was no external boost button! This meant that every time you have a contraction you have to open up the unit to press the boost button which means clipping it on a belt or trousers doesn't work because you have to keep getting at the unit. As I was having contractions 10 minutes apart for a couple of days this eventually proved a hugely frustrating design flaw.

Practicality

Liz: As mentioned the lack of an external boost button ruined what should have been a very good machine because instead of clipping to your trousers you had to have it constantly to hand either in your pocket or your hand.

Value for money

Liz: Not sure what the cost of this unit is but the lack of an external boost means I probably wouldn't buy it whatever the cost.

Visual appeal

Liz: The unit itself looked great - attractive colour, compact and easy to get to grips with.
